Exact is all about eating. From the day I joined this company, I think I haven’t stopped eating. For every reason, we have a celebration. For every event, we must have lots of food. Today, we celebrated the 50th Merdeka. Lots of food, flags, & games. While we were starving, we had to sing Negaraku and the ever-popular Sudirman’s song before they would feed us. To spice things up a bit, all the managers were assigned the role of waiters and waitresses to the “general population of staff”. It was amusing, and food was decent. Not WOW (coz a bit cold liow), but nothing the trusty microwave oven can’t save. So, a happy birthday to Malaysia – congratulations for the 50 years!!!
merdeka celebration…

busy busy busy…
21 08 2007Man, I haven’t updated my blog in ages… been rushing for a deadline (or was it deadlines) at work. Pretty crazy if I may say. Nothing much happened these few days. I’m trying to see if I can say anything substantial in the 4 mins before I clocked off and head on home to my baby and baby! Speaking of babies, there will be a lot of friends giving birth soon. I’m looking forward to it as that will mean my son will have more friends soon.
So good luck to all of you; namely Hazel and Josette (with almost immediate effect), and Sophie and Caryl (in the not-too-far distant). 4 women, 3 baby girls, 1 baby boy. Less man, more share (women)… yehhhh!!!!

zooming around at work…
7 05 2007
Over the holidays, I met up with a friend over dinner. Over the dinner table, her little boy was playing with a tiny RC car. It was the niftiest thing I’ve ever seen. For the past two days, I went all over town looking for it. I know, I know, she did tell me that the car is available at Isetan only, but I won’t be going to work for the next few days, and I couldn’t resist having one for the holiday, so hubby and I went searching for it – to no avail.
So, finally, after a wonderful 6-days break, I’m back at work. The first thing I did during lunch hour was rush to Isetan. Oh, they are the cutest little cars ever! Jo-Anna, my lunch buddy, couldn’t resist them as well. She got one for her dog!
It’s no bigger than a normal matchbox toy car, in fact, it is smaller. But everyone at work was quite cheap-thrilled over it also; zooming that little thing all over the extremely dirty carpet at work!!!! It’s so cool… I can’t wait to go home and have Shane chase/crawl all over the floor for it. Hehehe… I’m a meannn mom!
